Wi-Fi / App Connection
- Use a 2.4 GHz network; many Roborock models do not support 5 GHz for setup.

- Restart the Roborock app and your phone, then re-add the device.
- Temporarily disable VPN and move closer to the robot and router.
Need more help? Wi-Fi environments can be complex. For a thorough diagnosis, please connect with an agent via Live Chat or Call Support to discuss your specific network configuration.
Dock Not Emptying
- Empty the dock’s dust bag or washable bin and reseat it firmly.
- Check the air duct path between robot and dock for blockages.
- Wipe the electrical contacts on the robot and dock.
- In the app, try triggering a manual empty and listen for the motor.
Note: Dock emptying issues can sometimes be related to hardware or motor variances. Our support team is available to run remote diagnostics—reach out via phone or chat for a comprehensive check.
LiDAR / Mapping Errors
- Wipe the LiDAR sensor cover gently with a soft dry cloth.
- Ensure nothing is covering or blocking the laser turret on top.
- Start a new mapping run in a well-lit area with open doors.
- Update firmware in the Roborock app if an update is available.
Important: Mapping and LiDAR issues can sometimes be a symptom of underlying component issues. To avoid misdiagnosis, speak directly with a support specialist who can walk you through advanced troubleshooting or arrange for service if necessary.
